Corinth/Shiloh Tour

 

Shiloh: Conquer or Perish

DATES:  Sunday, October 17 – Wednesday, October 20, 2021

Join the museum as our annual campaign tour travels to Corinth, Mississippi, and Hardin County, Tennessee, to study the tactics, soldiers, and events of the Battle of Shiloh. The tour will be led by Timothy B. Smith, Professor of History at the University of Tennessee-Martin and author of numerous books including Shiloh: Conquer or Perish and Corinth 1862: Siege, Battle, Occupation.

Tour stops include the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center, the Corinth Contraband Camp, Battery Robinett, and two days at the Shiloh National Military Park.

COST: 
Friends of the Museums Member:  $690 Double Occupancy  |  $910 Single Occupancy
Non-Member:  $765 Double Occupancy  |  $985 Single Occupancy

Cost includes hotel stay for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights; all breakfasts, lunches and dinners; all motor coach services, tour guides, admissions; evening programs. A cash bar is available during Monday and Tuesday dinners.

TRANSPORTATION: 
Attendees are responsible for their own transportation from their homes to the hotel. Flights can be arranged through Memphis International Airport.

ROOMMATES: 
Indicate the name of the person with whom you wish to share a room. if you would like help in finding a roommate, please let the museum know during registration and we will attempt to find a roommate. if a roommate cannot be found, the single occupancy rate must be paid.

CANCELLATIONS: 
A full refund will only be issued for a space canceled by August 1, 2021, or if the trip is canceled by the museum.

Precautions will follow CDC recommendations and local guidelines as they exist at the time of the tour.
