The following workshops will be broadcast via Zoom.  Please register prior to 5pm the day before the workshop, then a Zoom link will be emailed to all registered participants the day of the workshop.

Little Round Top at Gettysburg: Fighting, Folkore and Photos

Join Mr. Adelman for an energetic ad illustrated virtual discussion of Little Round Top on its broadest timeline from basic geology to the epic status it enjoys today. The focus will mostly be on the relevant parts of the Battle of Gettysburg, the growth of the legend of Little Round Top, and the fascinating story of the evolution of the site as a tourist attraction, from battleground to hallowed ground.

 

 

Phil Sheridan and the Last Battle of Winchester

Wednesday, July 14  |  6:30 – 8:00pm  |  $10 ($15 non-members)  |  Instructor: Scott Patchan  |  REGISTER HERE

Mr. Patchan’s talk will explore Sheridan’s life and career from growing up in Somerset, Ohio, to his ascension to command of the U.S. Army of the Shenandoah. He will look at his experiences in the Civil War and examine how Sheridan became the right man for the job to win the critical Valley Campaign which helped propel Lincoln to reelection and the Union to victory.

Payment and Refunds

Payment in full is due at the time of registration.  Cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the start of the workshop or class will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within two weeks of start date will not receive a refund.  A full refund will be issued if the museum cancels a workshop or class.
