Day Camp/Daycare Group Visitors

What do the Museums offer Day Camp/Daycare groups?
The Kenosha Public Museums offers two options for Day Camp and Daycare group visitors. All groups of 10 or more attendees must make a reservation for one of our group visit options. The two options consist of either a self-guided tour visit or the Museum Favorites guided program. This information is for Day Camp and Daycare organizations only.

For information about bringing a school group, please see School Group Tours.

The Kenosha Public Museums are committed to providing access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodation in its services, programs, activities, and education for individuals with disabilities. To request disability accommodations, contact the Education Services coordinator at least one week in advance at (262) 653-4433 or thaase@kenosha.org.

Here are the programs offered:
The Museum Favorites program includes a docent guided and/or hands-on portion featuring some of the artifacts and specimens that the Museum showcases. Once that is complete, the group will have some self-paced exploration time.

A self-guided tour begins with a staff-led orientation. The group is then instructed how to best tour the Museum on their own. This may include being asked to divide into sub-groups within the Museum so everyone has the best experience possible.

How much do field trips cost?
The cost of the Museum Favorites guided program is $6 per student. The cost is $4 per student for organizations within the Kenosha Unified School District boundaries.

The cost for a self-guided tour, which includes a staff-led orientation, is $3 per student. The cost is $2 per student for organizations within the Kenosha Unified School District boundaries.
