Comic Artist BadgeThis workshop will be taught by cartoonist Paul Merklein, who lives in Kenosha and teaches cartooning at schools, libraries, camps and comic cons. See his cartoons at DabneyandDad.com

You will learn: The 5 most important features of every cartoon face; how to create your own original cartoon character; how to write speech balloons and thought bubbles; how to draw borders and backgrounds; how to bend and break the rules; and how to become a cartoonist.
