Painting

Watercolor Techniques

A relaxed environment for painters of all skill levels. Each of the six sessions begin with a demo showcasing a technique of the day including color mixing, application and removal, brush strokes, and various papers and mediums. Subjects include landscapes and still life.

Baskets

Double Wall Basket

This small basket has a 4″ base. Starting with smoked spokes, the inner basket is woven with dyed reed. The outer basket is woven with natural spokes and weavers with a band of dyed reed to bring the inner color on the outside. Basket measures 7.5″ across at the top and stands 4.5″ high.

 

Melon Basket

This basket starts with two 8″ hoops connected with God’s eyes on each side of the hoops, then woven with natural reed and dyed reed accents, and finished with a wrap handle. Basket measures 8″ across and 4″ high not including the handle.

 

 

Payment and Refunds

Payment in full is due at the time of registration.  Cancellations made at least two weeks prior to the start of the workshop or class will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within two weeks of start date will not receive a refund.  A full refund will be issued if the museum cancels a workshop or class.
