July 7, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Cassandra Griffen, Photojournalist and speaker for the Shuttlesworth Project program

Friday, July 7  |  6:30pm – 8:00pm  |  Speaker: Cassandra Griffen, Photojournalist

Cassandra Griffen’s program will showcase her images of the foot soldiers of the Civil Rights Movement who, though largely unknown to the nation, served as integral parts of Reverend Fred Lee Shuttlesworth’s determination to undo Jim Crow laws in the South.  These images will show the impact that Rev.
