Set on the shores of picturesque Lake Michigan, the Kenosha Public Museums provide a beautiful and unique setting for your next event. Featuring more than ten separate meeting and event spaces ranging in size and capability, the Museums can host large group sessions, breakout spaces, lectures, team-building activities, evening events, and more.

All rooms are available Mondays through Fridays 8am – 5pm, Saturdays 10am – 5pm, and Sundays 12pm – 5pm, unless otherwise noted. Early entry may be available for an additional fee. For weekend rates and evening event packages, click here.
Civil War Museum
Freedom Hall
Located on the first-floor of the Museum Freedom Hall offers picturesque views of Kenosha’s harbor. It can accommodate up to 100 people seated at either 60″ round tables or theater-style. This room is equipped with A/V including built-in projector, screen, sound system, and microphones. Catering kitchen attached.

Week Nights, 5pm – 9pm: $400
Seminar Room
With stunning views of Lake Michigan the Seminar Room on the second-floor of the Museum is perfect for a group of up to 50. This room can be set up using either 60″ round tables, 8′ seminar tables, or theater-style. This room is equipped with A/V including built-in projector, screen, sound system, and microphones.
Weekdays: $250Â |Â Weekends: $300
Procarione Classroom
The Procarione Classroom offers a unique setting for smaller gatherings, but can accommodate up to 40. Use this space for a business meeting or as a quiet area separate from a larger rental using Freedom Hall or the Seminar Room. A portable projector, screen, or electronic whiteboard can be made available upon request.

Classroom
An ideal space for students or testing, the standard classroom situated on the second-floor looks out over Lake Michigan and comes equipped with six 8′ tables and can accommodate up to 36. This space can be used as a quiet area separate from a larger rental using Freedom Hall or the Seminar Room. A portable projector, screen, or electronic whiteboard can be made available upon request.

Kenosha Public Museum
DC Hall
Located on the first-floor of the Museum DC Hall offers plenty of natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows on the east wall. It can accommodate up to 150 people seated at either 72″ round tables or 8′ banquet tables, or up to 200 theater-style. This room is equipped with A/V including built-in projector, screen, sound system, and microphones.

Week Nights, 5pm – 9pm: $400
Lakeside Classroom
The Lakeside Classroom is perfect for smaller gatherings but can accommodate up to 36. Use this space for a business meeting or as a quiet area separate from a larger rental using DC Hall. A portable projector, screen, or electronic whiteboard can be made available upon request. This room also has the capability to be divided into two separate spaces.

Johnson Classroom
An ideal space for students or testing, the Johnson Classroom comes equipped with up to fifteen 8′ tables and can accommodate up to 80. This space can be used as a quiet area separate from a larger rental using DC Hall. A portable projector, screen, or electronic whiteboard can be made available upon request. This room also has the capability to be divided into two separate spaces.

The Museums are also available for evening events such as fundraisers, holiday parties, seminars, and more, 5pm-10pm.
Mezzanine
Kenosha Public Museum

Overlooking the serene beauty of Lake Michigan, this elegant space can comfortably seat up to 80 guests. Whether it’s a company celebration or a formal gathering, our mezzanine offers the perfect blend of sophistication and breathtaking views to make your event unforgettable.

First Floor Lobby + DC Hall
Kenosha Public Museum
Located on the first floor, this versatile space can accommodate up to 150 guests for dinner, theater-style seating, drinks, or a combination of setups. Your guests will be captivated by the beautiful rock wall that adds a touch of natural elegance to the venue while enjoying the amenities of DC Hall including A/V capabilities and wireless microphones.

Outdoor Terrace
Civil War Museum
The outdoor terrace at the Civil War Museum offers the best views in town, overlooking beautiful Lake Michigan. Accommodating up to 200 guests, this spacious terrace provides the perfect backdrop for any gathering. Available from May through September, this unique space is ideal for events that demand a memorable setting. Please note, furniture is not provided.
