Adult Workshops

Museum Book Club

A welcoming discussion group for readers interested in Civil War history and related topics. Participants read a selected book and gather to share insights, questions, and conversation in a relaxed setting.

Annual Bus Trip

Each Autumn, the Civil War Museum offers an annual group travel experience to a significant Civil War-related destination. Locations and themes change each year, bringing participants together to explore historic sites, enjoy guided tours, and travel alongside fellow Civil War enthusiasts.

Great Lakes Civil War Forum

An annual day-long program featuring multiple in-depth presentations on a unifying Civil War theme. The forum brings together scholars and history enthusiasts for a deeper exploration of the era.

SPARK! programs are designed for people in the early-to-mid stages of memory loss to visit with their family and care partners.
