Fused Glass Workshops
Fused Glass Rectangular Suncatcher

Add a splash of color to your window in this creative fused glass workshop. Participants will design a rectangular glass suncatcher using pre-cut glass pieces, experimenting with color, pattern, and texture to create a vibrant, light-catching design.
No prior glass experience is needed. All materials and instruction are provided. Finished suncatchers will be kiln-fired and ready for pickup at a later date.

Fused Glass Jewelry

Design and create wearable works of art in this fused glass jewelry workshop. Participants will create one or more glass pieces using colorful, pre-cut glass and simple design techniques to explore color, pattern, and texture.
No prior glass experience is required. All materials and instruction are provided. Finished pieces will be kiln-fired and assembled with jewelry findings, then ready for pickup at a later date.

Spring Acrylic Painting: Beginners and Beyond I

Be enchanted with texture and color in acrylic paint! Students will learn how to construct a painting by determining basic composition, blocking in the underlying dark, middle, and light values, and layering color. Students will work from an image of an impressionist painting. This class is perfect for those who are beginners or have previous experience and want to expand their skills in acrylics. Paint and Sip: Spring Wreath Watercolor Painting

Practice making some springy watercolor wreaths with artist Tiffany Knopow. Students will learn how to mix colors, use transparent layers, and other painting techniques to make stylized leaves and flowers. All supplies are included, no experience necessary. Guests must be 21+.

Fiber Arts Workshops
Outside-In Basket

This basket is woven with Green spokes and natural weavers. Students will learn a unique “V” stitch with dyed spokes and natural reed. The “V” stitches becomes the decorative inside base. This basket is woven in a continuous twill pattern. Completed basket measures: 10”L x 5”W x 4”T

Golden Wire Wrapped Jewelry Set

Give your jewelry-making skills a glow up as you learn how to wrap and create shapes with golden wire and colorful beads. You will learn how to make a wire-wrapped leaf pendant necklace as well as a pair of earrings in this 1.5-hour class. All supplies are included, no experience is necessary.

Wire and Bead Wrapped Hoop Earrings
Thursday, April 23 | 6:00pm – 8:00pm | Instructor: Tiffany Knopow, MFA | $52 ($65 for non-members) | Register Here for Wire and Bead Hoop Earrings
Learn a few easy jewelry-making techniques and construct at least three sets of earrings. Participants can choose to use either type of bead in the photograph and experiment with many different wrapping techniques. All supplies are included, no experience necessary.

Holiday Paint and Sip: Christmas Still Life

This workshop has been canceled due to low registration.
Cancellations and Refunds
A full refund will be issued if the Kenosha Public Museum, Dinosaur Discovery Museum, or Civil War Museum cancels a workshop or camp.
All refunds requested within 72 hours of the program are subject to a $10 processing fee.
No refunds are offered on or after the day a workshop or camp begins.
Class cancellations can happen if enrollment minimums are not met two days prior to the event. You will be contacted via phone or email if your event is canceled.
If unforeseen circumstances (i.e. weather, power outages, instructor illness) occur within 72 hours of the workshop or camp and the program must be canceled, the museum will do its best to reschedule or provide a voucher to take a program of a similar or same cost.
