Kindness in a Cup of Coffee

Friday, March 21  |  2:00pm – 3:30pm 

No single item of food or drink meant as much to Civil War soldiers.  They talked about coffee, wrote about coffee, and dreamed about coffee.  This SPARK! program describes the different methods Civil War soldiers obtained, brewed and shared their coffee and how these actions sometimes brought them brief moments of peace, comfort and kindness.


Hardtack and Butter

Thursday*, April 17  |  2:00pm – 3:30pm

*The Museum is closed Good Friday, April 18

Participants will explore the food supplied to Civil War soldiers as well as make butter.


Explore Kenosha’s Harborside Sculpture Walk

Friday, May 16  |  2:00pm – 3:30pm 

Participants will experience the beautiful lakefront of Lake Michigan to explore the Kenosha Harbor Sculpture Walk, an art installation featuring 10 inspiring works of art.
